Library Life or Questions Your Professor didn't Prepare You For

A Site about Libraries, Information Technology, and the Random Questions You'll Encounter Along the Way

Free Webinar Alert!

Going to webinars is a great way to increase your skills and to keep up with current trends, and it’s even better when it’s free!  I was browsing some of my favorite sites, and while I was on Webjunction came across a listing of some 74 free webinars that will be happening in February.  Here’s a partial listing of some of the more (for me), interesting sounding ones.

  • Feb 5 – Project Management 101: Part 1 of 2 – Key Elements of a Project Plan
  • Feb 6 – Libraries as Agents of Change
  • Feb 12 – Graphic Novels: A Gateway for Reluctant Readers
  • Feb 19 – Project Management 101: Part 2 of 2 – Evaluating your Project Plan
  • Kid, Teen, & Tween Spaces: 21st Century Edition

There’s also webinars for individuals interested in issues related to management, graphic design, social media in the library, and big data.  So have a good one and remember, it’s free!
