Having now read all of Gillian Flynn’s novels, including Dark Places, the subject of this review, I have come to the conclusion that Flynn really, really does NOT like her characters to be well adjusted individuals in any way, shape, or form!
This week is National library week, I thought I’d post about what libraries mean to me, both as a consumer and a librarian.
As a history buff, I’ve been really enjoying all the biopics we’ve been getting in the past few years, from Lincoln and 12 Years a Slave to The Invisible Woman. And while I have some problems with the Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything overall it was a very enjoyable film.
I know that I’ve been promising to post my review of Eleanor & Park for a while now and have been tied up with preparing to start at my new position, but here (finally), is my review.
Yesterday was International Happiness Day, which is an actual holiday that I am in no way making up. One of the ways that it was being celebrated was for people to post songs they enjoy at #HappySoundsLike.
